Things You’ll Need (Checklist)

Step 1: Check If Your Printer Is Offline

Step 2: Reconnect Samsung M2825DW Printer to WiFi

Now that you have confirmed that your printer is offline, you will want to connect it to your WiFi network. However, you need to download a printer driver before doing so. Following this, we will be connecting the printer to WiFi. Below are simplified steps for Windows 10 users only.

Download Printer Software Installer

• Turn on your Windows PC and open a browser window (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or whatever you use to surf the Internet).
• On your browser, visit the link www.samsungsetup.com to download the driver.
  • When you access the link above, you will be directed to HP's support page, as Samsung printers are supported by HP.
• Type in your credentials (email address and password) to reach the Samsung Printer Software Installer page. Here, click on the Download button given under the Windows logo icon. The download will start now. The process may vary depending on the browser you are using.
• If you are using Google Chrome, click the download icon, which looks like a down arrow adjacent to your profile section (upper right corner).

• Now, click on the downloaded file, SamsungPrinterInstaller.exe, and you’ll be moved to the folder where it was downloaded.

• In the open folder, double-click on the downloaded file, SamsungPrinterInstaller.exe.

• A Samsung Printer Installer window will appear on the screen. Click the box that says, “I have reviewed and accept the installation agreements.”
• Click the Next button.
• Next, select the New Printer option and tap the Next button.
• After that, click on the Wireless button and click Next.
• Again, click on the Next button.
• A progress bar will appear as it searches for your wireless printer.
• Meanwhile, you may see a pop-up (a small window that appears with a message and options) with a message like, Setup can’t connect to the printer wirelessly.
• Click OK to ignore the pop-up. 

Connect the Printer to Your Computer

1. Grab the USB cable that came with your printer. Connect one end to the back of the printer and plug the other into any rectangular slot on your computer.
2. Once the progress bar finishes on your PC screen, select your WiFi network from the screen and hit the Next button.
3. Enter your password for your WiFi network and wait for a while.
4. On the next screen, you will see a Wireless Network Settings Complete message.
5. Click Next and disconnect your USB cable.
6. Return to your screen and click the Next button a few times, as shown, until your setup is completed.
7. Finally, hit the Finish button to complete your connection.

2. Then, type Control Panel and press the Enter key.
3. In the upper right corner of the View by section, make sure it is set to Large icons.
4. Look for the Devices and Printers option.

6. Next, select Printer properties. A window will appear where you have to click the Print Test Page.
7. The test print will now be sent to your printer. Wait for your printer to print a test page.
